Police Nab Pair Wanted In Armed Robbery Of Allentown Pedestrians

Police have arrested two men who they say robbed pedestrians at gunpoint on Monday, March 21.

Timothy Gordillo, 20, and Samuel Gordillo, 22, both of Allentown, held two civilians at gunpoint near 2nd and Gordon Streets around 1:40 a.m., Allentown police said. Police did not specify what had been stolen.

The victims provided police with the suspects' descriptions, and officers captured them a short while later, they said.

Samuel Gordillo was charged with the following:

  •  Robbery which Inflicts or Threatens Bodily Injury
  • ​ Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License
  • ​ Resisting Arrest or Other Law Enforcement
  •  Possessing Instruments of a Crime
  • ​ Terroristic Threats with Intent to Terrorize
  • ​ Simple Assault
  • ​ Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition

He was remanded to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, court records show.

Timothy Gordillo was charged with the following:

  • ​Terroristic Threats
  • ​Disorderly Conduct

​He was remanded to Lehigh County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, records show.

A dual preliminary hearing was set for Monday, March 28.
